The Parents Place

181. Story of Resilience: Supporting an LGBTQ+ Child

Listen Later

Being a parent is a big job and often times we don't realize how hard it might be to let them grow and live their own lives. Sydney is here and has a great story about watching two of her children grow up and come out as being members of the LGBTQ+ community. She talks about what was hard, what she wishes she did better, what she did well, and what young LGBTQ+ adults want parents to know.
