きのう映画館に行きました。一人で行きました。スタジオジブリの新しい映画を見ました。

イギリスで先月からジブリの映画The Boy and the Heronが始まりました。日本語レッスンで映画の感想を聞きました。　おもしろいと思った人と、おもしろくないと思った人と、まあまあだと思った人がいました。私はとてもおもしろいと思いました。

この映画にはジブリの古い作品や、世界のファンタジー作品を思い出す場面があります。私が初めてジブリの映画を見たのは４０年前です。映画を見ながら、私の４０年の時間が、昔のジブリ映画の記憶と一緒になって、体の中でぐるぐるしました。

ストーリーも良かったです。少年と不思議な世界に行き、　　すてきな人たちと出会いました。宮崎駿みたいなおじいさんもいました。おじいさんは１３個の石を持っていて、少年が１つ　もらって自分の世界に帰ります。「いし」はstonesの石の他に、違う漢字で、will意志やlast wishes遺志という言葉になります。宮崎監督のメッセージかもしれません。

I went to the cinema yesterday. I went alone. I watched a new Studio Ghibli film.

The Boy and the Heron, a Ghibli film, started in the UK last month. I asked the Japanese lessons what people thought about the film.　Some people thought it was interesting, some thought it was not interesting and some thought it was ok. I thought it was very interesting.

There are scenes in this film that remind me of old Ghibli films and fantasy films from around the world. I first saw a Ghibli film 40 years ago. As I watched the film, my 40 years went round and round in my body, together with my memories of the old Ghibli films.

The story was also good. I went to a fantasy world with a boy and met lovely people. There was an old man who looked like Hayao Miyazaki. The old man had 13 stones, and the boy got one and went back to his own world. In addition to stones, the word "stone" can also be used with different kanji, as in will, or last wishes. This may be a message from director Miyazaki.
