We may say that we want something to change in our life, maybe we want to change our health, maybe we want to overcome struggles, overcome fear, overcome thoughts that hold us back from achieving big goals. Have you ever noticed that we never change and our life doesn’t change or become what we want it to become just by doing nothing? It requires us to get out of what is called homeostasis so that we can create change in our life that is lasting. If you have a big goal or dream and find yourself self sabotaging, homeostasis is the reason why. Our brain doesn’t like the unknown and makes us think it’s dangerous to do things differently, but if we want to reach bigger goals we need to become a better new version of ourself first.
