DJ JS-1 has a new album called “IT IS WHAT IT ISN'T”(Ground Original 4). He sat down with The Library's Tim Einenkel to talk about his new project which features over 45 MCs on it. A great record on the album features O.C or D.I.T.C and is called "Turn the Tables" Asked why he started the album with this record and why the DJ's important, JS-1 said "When I grew up the DJ broke records...The DJ should be a voice. He should be a voice for the good artists trying to get out there." The Rock Steady member also goes on to explain why new vinyl is not as appealing to the Hip-Hop DJ because it is less fun to spin.
