Real confidence is a feeling of self assurance that arises from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities. It is a state of feeling certain about the truth of something. Confidence is a feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or a firm trust. All of these definitions of confidence are rooted in what we believe about ourselves first, the truth of who we are, a firm trust in ourselves and a feeling of assurance and appreciation of our own abilities or qualities. Confidence will not come from outside validation or compliments. Confidence comes first within ourselves from ourselves about ourselves, focus on the qualities you already have and are good at and then build the confidence on the outside.
