Duke Energy provides electric power to all of North Carolina. In 2014 Duke spilled coal ash into the Dan River and pled guilty to criminal negligence.The state utility commission approved for Duke to not only charge customers the full cost to pay for clean up, but to even make a profit.The North Carolina Attorney General is appealing to the Supreme Court.Duke believes the commission's ruling is fair, but fair for whom?
