Mez McConnell is an elder of Niddrie Community Church, Edinburgh, and Director of 20schemes, a church planting ministry in Scotland. He is the author of numerous books, including The Creaking on the Stairs: Finding Faith in God Through Childhood Abuse and Is There Anybody Out There?: A Journey from Despair to Hope. He is a former church planting missionary working in the north of Brazil. Mez is married to Miriam and has two daughters and a son.
