For many years I have thought about the word BOASTING. What does it mean to boast? Marvin J Ashton said “Boasting is to glorify oneself, to talk in a vain or bragging manner, or to talk especially about one’s deeds. Boasting is to speak with pride and to take pride in, to brag about, to be proud to possess. Oftentimes, boastful people are starving for attention. Boastful people may not be aware of the consequences caused by their method of presentation.” I’ve been sick the last few days and as I was reading my scriptures, I saw the word "boast" and that led my mind to a conversation I had with one of my brothers. I decided to read some more talks and look at some other scriptures about being boastful and share with you some of these thoughts. Join me today as I talk about boasting.
