Legalism is something every Christian must fight against. We all have the urge a time to measure our faith (or the faith of others) but some outside, extra-Biblical standard. In hopes of solidifying our faith, legalism only drives us away from Christ leads to depend on our own strength and virtue. This week's podcast features a clip from a sermon preached by one of my favorite preachers, Bob Bixby of Redeemer Church in Freemont, CA. Pastor Bob was once my pastor and still continues to be a mentor and friend. I think you will find this extremely helpful in your fight against the spiritually deadly inclination.
