Five Standards of Successful Communication

1. Caring

  • If you do not care, it shows in everything you do.

  • Don’t tell someone how much you know until you have showed me how much you care.

  • Caring means when someone is talking, you look them in their eyes, and give them your undivided attention.

  • 2. Praise

    • Negativity is the devil's language and it will destroy your marriage, business, schoolwork, any aspect of your life.

    • Negativity will ruin the effectiveness of your communication.

    • We should never let anyone close to our heart if they are negative about you.

    • You have to praise your mate, employee, teacher, students, etc.

    • We need to make sure that the person we marry is the person God wants us to marry.

    • If you keep your focus on Christ you will not be disappointed in your marriage.

    • 3. Truth

      • Tell the truth but don’t be brutal about it.

      • If something is irritating you then you must let it out and talk about it or it will turn into other behavior.

      • 4. Faith

        • For ladies, it means that once you have spoken to your husbands about your feelings, then you need to have faith to let God be the enforcer.

        • Allow God the time to speak to your heart so you have the right words to say when you speak to others.

        • 5. Surrender

          • Our mouths belong to God.

          • The Holy Spirit will never lead a married couple into two different directions.

            • Communication is important for any relationship.
