I think the most unique thing about this bulb/lamp is the use of fifty volt 2835 LEDs.
When I saw these being sold by a UK supplier called CPC I bought a blue one, as the other colours will have phosphor hiding what's inside the LEDs.
I was expecting a retro capacitive dropper or maybe even just a resistor, but it is actually using a linear regulator.
