Festus is speaking to Leigh today who is talking about a life-altering event: Being attacked by a man who broke into her apartment while she was asleep. Even more difficult than the horrible event, where the months that followed after, as Leigh suffered with severe PTSD and depression. The question “Why me?” haunted her but Leigh was nevertheless able to fight through those dark times and recovered from her injuries inside and out. 

Festus also shares for the first time that his apartment was also broken into, luckily while he wasn’t at home. Lastly, Leigh explains how she made it through the trial that followed and how she found acceptance and relief after.
