Learners and parents/carers will hear how Ala’a stepped outside of her comfort zone, built confidence, and embraced exciting industry experiences — from working on real furniture-making projects to being recognised at the prestigious Furniture Makers’ Hall. Her story is a wonderful insight into how hands-on learning, creativity, and determination can open exciting pathways for the future.

Ala’a also reflects on the friendships, teachers, and opportunities that helped shape her college experience, as well as her ambitions to study Interior Architecture at university.
