Yomiko Readman is "The Paper" an agent for the British Library with the power to manipulate paper into any form. When clones of long-dead notable figures from the past begin a dasterdly plot to destory the world, Yomiko is sent out into the field, along with her new parter, the matter-phasing Ms Deep.
