What do we do when the news comes out that the people who have helped shape our faith into what it is today have had a moral failure? 

For many of us, this becomes a moment of unravelling. 

We brought Mandy Fowler back to help us process moral failures from church leaders. We think through questions such as, does a moral failure invalidate the ministry? When do we decide that this moral failure calls into question the rest of their work? How should forgiveness play into this, and what are the power dynamics involved that can make that difficult? And, how do we love and care for those who have decided to let go of their faith because of failures in leadership? 

This is a tough conversation...but an important one.
