Richard Ramirez aka The Night Stalker terrorized Los Angeles and San Francisco from 1984 to 1985. He frequently chose houses at random, attacking victims if their door was unlocked giving him easy access. As his crimes progressed, he began incorporating his satanic interests in his crimes. Richard Ramirez would make his victims swear on satan, say they loved satan, or drew crosses on both his victims and the crime scene. Once convicted, groupies flooded him with correspondence. He even married Doreen Lioy while in San Quentin State Prison. Even though he was on death row, Richard Ramirez got off easy. He died June 7, 2013 from b-cell lymphoma and Hepatitis C. Despite his recent death, the horrific details of his crime spree will live on.
