On this episode, I sat down with Dr. Julie Futcher. Julie is a chartered architect with significant experience in professional practice. Since completing her PhD she has worked as an independent researcher on climate responsive urbanism and the energy exchanges that characterise densely built urban landscapes.
Her work explores the direct influence of the City of London’s morphology on access to passive resources (day/sunlight and ventilation), and in turn, the net-energy effects on the neighbouring setting and on air quality.
