1887, Wexford County in Northwest Michigan near the Manistee River. Two lumberjacks saw a creature that they described as having a man's body and a dog's head. This was the first reported sighting of what is now known as The Michigan Dogman. Since those early reports coming out of lumber camps in the late 1800's hundreds of Michiganders have reported seeing this beast.
