Welcome back to another episode of Podcast Growth University—a podcast about podcasts with your host, Kevin Palmieri. He is also the co-host of Next Level University, a global top 100 Self-Improvement podcast with more than 1,000 published podcasts. Their podcast team, Next Level Podcast Solutions, has published over 2,000 podcasts, so best believe that Kevin knows what he is talking about.
He has been in the podcasting industry for five and a half years and has seen many people lying about their podcast numbers. People claim to have way more listeners than they actually do, and it's really inflated. These numbers can easily discourage others, especially when they’re just starting out, but you have to remember that a lot of those numbers are fake. Just because somebody has a lot of listeners doesn't mean they're actually doing well. If you're stuck trying to grow your podcast and aren't seeing the results you want, this episode is for you!
