Writing a book is a comeback of sorts. Most people agree that writing and publishing a book is the ultimate achievement. Although this isn’t necessarily the case, most people see having published a book as “having made it.” One of the hidden benefits of writing and publishing a book is to be able to rub it in the face of those who said we wouldn’t make it. Of course, this comes from a place of dark energy—but we all need a little dark energy from time to time, don’t we?
