Has anyone ever asked you, "what are you building?"

When I think back on my life, the ONLY time someone asked me that is when I was building something tangible that prompted someone's curiosity. 

I've also noticed recently that we don't pay enough attention to people around us to notice when they are building something non-tangible. We aren't confident or curious enough to ask questions when we don't YET see proof of concept. To piggy back on yesterday's episode on resiliency, I believe that this is the reason that many people hold themselves back. They need the support and affirmation that what they're building is GREAT before actually being able to show someone else what is living so wonderfully in their dreams. 

 

This weekend, ask someone around you what they are building and see how they respond.
