Have you talked to your partner about periods before?

I felt inspired to have a conversation with my husband Matthew about periods, and then record it (because #podcasterlife haha). And get this - I didn’t even realize it was syncing up just before with National Period Day on October 19th! So great timing there!

This is a really powerful conversation - we test out his period knowledge, talk about some common period experiences, and he gets to ask any question he’s ever had about menstruation. And there might be a demonstration moment involving a tampon and a cup of water! 

I believe it’s through conversations like this, we normalize menstruation and create space for menstruating humans to feel more empowered through their experiences.
