You may observe the people around you and think, "they have it all together". 

Do they really?!

I used to ask myself why I was constantly comparing myself to people who I thought did life better and NOW, I look around and wonder why so many of us are putting on this false persona that appears to not struggle with anything. We learn to hide our deepest hurts, the scathing wrath of our inner bully and the beliefs that come with that conversation with ourselves. We can't show those vulnerabilities because we've learned that...

1. They are often used against us and...

2. People rarely allow us to outgrow those seasons of our lives. 

So what's the problem with showing up with a tough exterior, only allowing few people in?

You're likely hiding some of the most beautiful gifts and talents that you possess as well. You may bubble over the edge with certain negative emotions because you're holding SO much IN.
