きのう、車で出かけました。車の窓から、きれいな菜の花の畑を見ました。明るい黄色のスカーフみたいです。

菜の花や　月は東に　日は西に

これは江戸時代の俳句です。広い、花畑の景色です。午後6時ぐらいです。花畑の上に月があります。東から月が出て来ました。この時、西には夕日が見えます。「菜の花や」の「や」はAndのや、じゃありません。俳句では、この「や」に気持ちが入っています。

菜の花の　中に稲荷の　鳥居かな

この俳句では、花畑の中に神社の鳥居があります。京都の伏見稲荷は赤い鳥居です。でも、赤じゃない鳥居もあります。木でできた鳥居だったら茶色です。石の鳥居だったら灰色です。この俳句の鳥居は何色だと思いますか。

最後の俳句です。

菜の花の　中に糞ひる　飛脚かな

飛脚は昔の宅急便、デリバリーの人です。郵便局の人かもしれません。菜の花畑の中で、何をしているか、わかりますか。ちょっと臭い俳句ですが、おもしろい俳句です。
