In this episode our hosts, Josh and Jade, review Freakier Friday, the 2025 sequel to Disney’s classic body swap comedy Freaky Friday. The film is directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss, with a story by Weiss and Elyse Hollander. It brings back Jamie Lee Curtis as Tess Coleman and Lindsay Lohan as her daughter Anna, who is now an adult, a mother, and preparing for a major family transition. A new twist pulls Anna’s daughter Harper, played by Julia Butters, and her soon to be stepdaughter Lily, played by Sophia Hammons, into a chaotic four person body swap after Anna becomes engaged to Eric, played by Manny Jacinto.

Josh and Jade unpack what works and what is trash and what is treasure. They Manny Jacinto’s performance and argue he deserves far more roles across Hollywood. Additionally, Jamie Lee Curtis essentially carries the movie with her presence and comedic timing.
