A very rare thing happened on 3 June - AR Rahman, who usually keeps to his business and rarely meddles in politics tweeted, "Beautiful decision. Hindi is not compulsory in Tamil Nadu... The draft has been edited" — and that shows how serious Tamil Nadu is when it comes to Hindi imposition.
