Steps to enable WSL2:

Open Powershell as an adminstrator

Enable WSL

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all /norestart

Enable the Virtual Machine Platform

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart

Install the WSL2 Linux kernel update package for x64 machines

Set WSL 2 as your default version

wsl --set-default-version 2

Install your Kali from the Windows Store:
