The 1987 Baseball team was one of the legendary teams in the rich hardball tradition of RHHS.  Coach Evans’ squad was lead by a strong group of seniors and joined by a group of underclassmen to make up a solid rotation as well as a potent lineup.  Nicknamed the Cardiac Kids for their penchant for come from behind, late inning victories they tasted the high of a thrilling semi-final win over Lawrenceville with back to back home runs and the utter heartbreak in the finale vs Mt. Carmel.
