An entire generation of movie fans, upon hearing that Sylvester Stallone was going to star in an arm wrestling competition action film, braced themselves for what could have been the greatest motion picture event of their lives. But that movie was Over The Top and within just 3 years of it's release, these same youngsters had embraced grunge, cynicism, and irony. A coincidence?
