FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

 

Laboratory equipment including steroids microscope, light table, lighted magnifiers, LeeTEK machine, grids and gauges were used to examine the documents.  A stroke and letter comparison was made.  Based upon reasonable scientific certainty, it is my opinion that:

 

The handwritten Jack Donald Lewis signatures identified in Q-1 through Q-3 and the Jack Donald Lewis / Don Lewis signatures identified on S-1 through S-21 were written by the same person. 

 

Previously on 11/1/1997 Peter Candler, FACFE of Mark Write, Inc.,  also stated after examining the same documents that:

 

It is our unqualified opinion that the questioned signatures of Jack Donald Lewis as they appear on the Questioned Documents Number 1, 2 and 3 above are genuine.
