Dr. Alex Box is a beauty futurist, makeup artist and founder of V-Metics, a new virtual cosmetics beauty tool. Known for her avant-garde, art-driven approach, she redefined beauty creating bold, transformative looks that blend art and fashion. In this episode, we discuss makeup as a form of communication and how beauty is being translated into the digital space.

We created 19/99 to empower individuals to define beauty on their own terms. Over a year before launching the brand, we started interviewing people of various backgrounds, in various places, at various stages about beauty, aging, and life.

We took a little break from this, and are excited to be back with a new episode of our podcast, Retaliation Age, tomorrow. With this podcast, we are bringing you conversations with people from a variety of backgrounds and a variety of industries who are doing things differently or creating change.
