"Professionally, I spent 30 years in the trenches (aka poorest areas of Philadelphai) working as a Spiritual/Maternal/Newborn RN in the homes of at-risk pregnant women. The majority of these women had experienced adversity & trauma throughout their lives. Whe we met, most could not see a future that was any different than their past and present. After our time together, a significant number of women reported they had changed the tracjectory of not only their life, but the lives of their children & generations to come. When asked, these women said our time together allowed them to move beyond the traumas of their past by learning how to trust, love and feel safe with themselves"
