To truly have a sound mind, the renewing and reconstruction process can get a little messy. Sometimes it means we need to do a little deep cleaning of the dark corners and hidden places of our minds--all the thoughts and feelings we've ignored or suppressed or buried away from view. The Lord wants every part of our mind to be made new, and that even includes those things that hide deep in our subconscious. Thankfully, with His help, even the messy little corners of our minds can be brightened and swept clean.
