To wrap up this series, we'll look at a passage from Matthew 7 where the Lord has some harsh things to say to a group of people who were trying to serve in His kingdom. It's a dynamic we desperately need to explore, because as people pleasers, we often pride ourselves on all the good things we do for others. But in this instance, Jesus saw right through their efforts and pinpointed the hidden motives of their heart. We'll also tie codependency into our discussion, and look at how to purify our gospel service through the blessed grace of Christ.
