Strength Beyond Words

Become who you are,

my moon and stars.

You have a strength beyond words,

that can replace all your scars.

You’ve traveled so far,

And forgotten who you are.

But no matter how far,

Nothing’s ripped us apart.

You found strength in your heart,

and released years of hurt.

You have courage beyond words,

that expands as we search.

You reached in and found her,

the little girl trapped by the shed.

She was shaking and hurt,

and you gave her your hand.

You’re a woman now, for sure,

now that you’ve been left for dead.

You have a strength beyond words,

because you chose truth before death.
