Today’s episode features Jean Golden, a woman who lived isolated and unfulfilled - despite tons of outwardly success. Jean describes life before and during addiction as living on a desert island and now describes her happiness as being able to enjoy human connection. She learned to accept her past and move forward with the knowledge that her happiness is a choice and a decision she must make daily, if not multiple times a day.
