On this episode of All Bodies Outside, our guest is Dr. Michael Brunson, who has a PhD in Park Management and Conservation. In 2012 he thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, which influenced him to pursue a career in conservation and outdoor recreation. His experience is similar to mine. In 2009, I hiked on the Pacific Crest Trail and it also influenced me to pursue a career in conservation and outdoor recreation. It was a fun episode comparing how the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail continue to influence our lives more than a decade later!
