Belief in Jesus: The Life and Light
John 1:4-9

I. Believe – Jesus is the Life (v. 4)
Jesus is the source of all life – physical and spiritual. (John 1:4, John 14:6)
Life comes from God, not from random chance. (Romans 1:20, Colossians 1:16-17)

III. Believe – Jesus is Unconquerable (v. 5)
Darkness cannot overcome or extinguish Jesus. (John 1:5, John 16:33)

Persecution and opposition cannot stop the Gospel. (Acts 4:20, Philippians 1:12-14)
Christ’s light remains victorious. (Isaiah 60:1-2, Revelation 21:23)
IV. Believe – There Are Witnesses (vv. 6-8)
John the Baptist was a witness pointing to Jesus. (John 1:6-8, John 1:29)
Christians today are called to testify about Christ. (Matthew 5:14-16, Acts 1:8)
God always provides witnesses to reveal His truth. (Romans 10:14-15, 1 Peter 3:15)
We must be faithful in sharing the Light. (2 Corinthians 5:20, 1 Corinthians 9:16)

What does it mean that Jesus is the Life?
