In 2 Chronicles 15 & 16, king Asa receives a prophetic word from the Lord and responds by doing exactly what God wanted him to do. He seeks God. He cleanses the land of any and all false idols and false gods. He restored worship to the one and only true and living God. Because he intentionally sought God heart and soul, revival spread through the nation. One man is obedient, humble, and passionate about pursuing God and revival breaks out. Revival begins with us. When we passionately desire to experience God and want nothing else but God in our lives, other people will want that too. When we let God's Light shine through our lives, people will give glory to God. People were attracted to Asa because God was working in his life. When we choose to humbly submit our lives wholeheartedly and passionately to the Lord, others will be pointed to and drawn to Him too. As we walk in the Light of Christ, we begin to have fellowship with others and see true unity. As it says in Chapter 16:9a, "The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him."
