In 2 Chronicles 19, King Jehoshaphat returns to Jerusalem after narrowly escaping death in his alliance with wicked King Ahab. Jehoshaphat is confronted by the prophet Jehu, who rebukes him for helping the wicked (2 Chronicles 19:1-3). Even godly people can make poor choices, but God calls us to correct course and keep seeking Him.

Jehoshaphat travels through Judah, encouraging the people to return to the Lord. He appoints judges and leaders who fear God, not man, and commands them to lead with integrity (2 Chronicles 19:4-11).
