In this episode of our Kitchen Table Conversation, we continue discussing 2 Chronicles 7:14. We are now at the portion of the scripture where God says "and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways." We talk about how people spend time seeking everything but the face of God: fame, fortune, prestige, power, position, etc. We also discuss how some of the things that people seek are not bad within themselves, but we put those things before God thus not spending time seeking God's face/presence. We then turn our focus to the portion of the scripture that says "and turn from your wicked ways." Now be mindful that the scripture is not talking to the unbeliever, but it is directly speaking to God's people. Just in case you've never thought about it, Christians and wicked ways don't go together. Thank God for Grace and Mercy. Join us as we dive into this part of the scripture.
