* vs 3-4 - Paul is talking about the incredible generosity of this particular church.

* vs 5 - He then gives us they key to being generous. It’s two-fold:

* 1) Give yourself to God - see everything you have, including yourself, as God’s.

* You are a steward, not an owner. This means you have possession but no rights of ownership.

* How do we give to God practically?

* 2) Give yourself to others - the way to bless God is to bless His kids.

* This falls in line with the two greatest commandments - love God and love others.

* We love God by loving the people He created.

* When we live generously like this we will be blessed ourselves.
