Di Smalley currently serves as a Senior Healthcare Consultant & previously served as the senior vice president of workforce solutions, where she leads workforce strategy across Mercy. By maintaining a particular focus on key areas such as nursing, Di ensures we are providing exceptional access to care for our patients while effectively managing workforce costs and productivity. Di previously served as president of Mercy's West Communities, leading hospitals and clinic services across the state of Oklahoma. Prior to joining Mercy, she founded Avantas, LLC after serving as chief operating officer for its owner, Alegent Health.Di holds a master's degree in public health from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in biology from Midland Lutheran College. She earned her nursing license from Nebraska Methodist School of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska.
