Natural resource sociologist Professor Courtney Flint studies how people relate to their environment and communities. She has worked with over 25 communities as part of the Utah Wellbeing Project. Understanding how people connect with the landscapes they inhabit is critical for wise management and effective development. Courtney supposed to participate in a Research Landscapes event today. The Research Landscapes initiative is about strengthening the connection between Land, Water, and Air researchers and Utah’s decision-makers. Covid-19 precations shut down the event, so Courtney grabbed a microphone and talked to Wyatt instead.
