There is a dimension of love that can come from you as a believer towards God and men but there is a certain dimension of love that only the Spirit of God has to empower us to give and this is the very nature of GOD. This is what we call the Fruit of the Spirit. The love from Spirit must be cultivated from within us.  

Gal 5:22-23 KJV: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.
