Movie or True Crime?

A group of people must pull over at a rest stop due to a snowstorm. The roads are closed, there's no cell service, and someone has a secret. What can go wrong? The truth is still a mystery. 

Is it the plot of a spooky movie? Or is it a true story? The truth will be revealed.
