This episode will include a special recording from the recent 2025 Grace In The Wilderness' Joshua's Hope Christmas Brunch for Bereaved Moms. Sharon shares how God has helped her cope through the Christmases since her son, Bradley, passed away four years ago. God is the friend that sticks closer than a brother and He is a great Helper and Comforter of the brokenhearted. Sharon shares about how He has spoken personally to her and help to carry her through the difficult days of Christmas by focusing on the tree. Jesus died on the tree for us. The evergreen symbolizes eternal life which is only made possible by the greatest gift ever given to us. For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. That precious gift is what Christmas is all about.
Because of God's great gift, if we accept Jesus as our personal Savior, we can be reunited with our loved ones who have gone on before us to Heaven if they also have accepted Christ. This is a blessed hope that gets Sharon by every day until that day she will be reunited with her son and be in the presence of Jesus and God to live forever in Heaven. We pray it is a great comfort for you as well. If you don't know Jesus as your Savior but would like to, please reach out to Sharon at sharonhawkins.net/contact and send her a message. She would love to contact you and share with you about how to come to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
