ITU Blockchain is the premier university blockchain society in Turkey, boasting a following of over 20k on Twitter and a significant membership base. The society plays a key helping and assisting role in organizing events such as ETH Istanbul (May '23) and COSMOVERSE (Sep '23).  Recently, Alim passed on the presidency to another member, following in the footsteps of former president Ulas. When Ulas took on the role, ITU Blockchain had just 5 members and no significant presence on social media. Today, the landscape is vastly different, with more than 70 blockchain clubs established in Turkey, focused on advancing decentralization, innovation, and shaping a better future through cutting-edge ideas and technology.  Though Alim and Ulas are no longer at the helm of ITU Blockchain, they continue to be active members and have formed their own company, ETHYLENE Studio. They are excited to share their insights on the changing blockchain landscape in Turkey, their personal stories, and their vision for the future.
