Shiro Mungai is a young aspiring actress from Nairobi, Kenya. She grew up in a female household with a feminist single mother teaching her about life and how to make it on her own. Shiro moved to France at the young age of 22years old without knowledge of the language, all by herself to attend drama school there. She had to figure out life in Paris on her own and claim this to be a very lonely challenging time teaching her so much about herself.  

Before living back and forward between Paris and Nairobi she met the love of her life and ultimately decided to move to the Netherlands to be with him 1.5 years ago. Again a country a language she didn’t know of. She lives now in Amsterdam with her husband and is part of the Orange Theatre company where you can go to watch her talent.  

Be excited about a conversation all about growing up in a female household, moving to Europe, being an artist, challenging stigmas of interracial relationships and dealing with racism and womanhood of course!
