Genesis 38 is a chapter that is very tricky and difficult to read. Often we feel uncomfortable when we read it and may have absolutely no idea how to apply it to our live today. I am going to attempt to break this chapter down and show us how to reconcile the implications of this chapter and what it meant then to what it means now. How does this chapter of immorality, prostitution, and hypocrisy have anything to do with our lives today?

We are going to discuss an important theme that will be recurring on the show called "the turning point" where we see people at their lowest and then see the turning point that brought them to where they are today. Genesis 38 helps us to see that in Judahs life.
